This is my first set up after getting in the hobby around Christmas time. I really love music, all different kinds (mostly hip-hop/rap but I chose some good metal from Dio for this picture). After spending so much time browsing this subreddit and other vinyl discussions. I decided to jump into the hobby myself.
My turntable is a Fluance RT82. I think it works great and wasn’t to hard to set up, just had to really get the balance right. On the bottom is a Sony STRDH190 Home Stereo that I am using, and my speakers are Wharfedale Diamond 225 speakers. I really think I have some good quality sound with this set up and so far I love the way my records are playing.
My only issue is my room size ATM, where I cannot spread the speakers far enough apart, but this will be fixed in the next couple months when I move out into my own place. For now, this is working for me and I have no complaints. I am just so happy and excited to share with you all!!!
I also got my first set up recently! But space is a premium for me and yours look way better lmao
From newbie to newbie, any noticeable difference in using the speaker stands, or just placing the speakers in the table?

As for the speaker stands, I only used the stands since I didn’t have room on the table, so I actually haven’t tested them on the table. I have read though that you should always have your speakers on a different table than your turntable (which I would assume has to do with vibrations and the needle on the turntable, don’t quote me on that tho).
And YES! Dio is incredible and I love this album! While I am not a massive metal fan (i’m mostly into hip-hop and rap), this album stands out to me and I am glad to have it on vinyl!!

I like me some rap every once in a while, the only rap album I have is Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde, but it's killer! Looking forward to get some Madvillain and Dre, or Wu Tang.
My goodness, a first setup that has separate turntable, amp and speakers.... and actually has speaker stands! I'd give a gazillion upvotes for that alone.

So it's the remix? Does disc 1 side A have a problem where the needle can go all the way to the label, instead of looping at the end?
