My first thought is an Oriole of some sort, but I'm not that well versed in the other alternatives.
I agree with oriole but I’ve never seen one so “gummy” looking. The eggs also don’t appear to have obvious markings from the pic so I’m not sure

my first thought as well! I think they favor building nests between the Y of a little branch, and they tend to droop and dangle like this.
Oh! Those nests sure look like the best match! I'll have to tell my dad to keep an eye on it!
