Borrowed a Smoking Brothers smoker and cleaned hell out of it afterwards, scraping out carbon buildup and vacuuming out pellet dust under catch pan. Owner says all that adds flavor to smoke and I shouldn't have done it. My dog wouldn't eat the flakes that came out. What are opinions on cleaning?
